Seller Desk (Chrome extension)
GVX Seller Desk is a Chrome extension for sellers who already run a Whatnot live. While a whatnot.com live tab is open, it reads sale events on that page: buyer handle, item title, price, and sale type (sale or giveaway). It may also read on-screen “got” lines so a surprise-set reveal can fill the item name. That sales log is stored in Chrome storage on your computer so the desk can draw and print 2×1 labels. Printer settings, label layout, your logo, and your Xpress key also stay in Chrome storage on that machine.
The sales list is not uploaded to us. To check that you paid for Xpress, the desk sends your 24-hour Xpress key (a session token) to our Supabase project. To print silently through QZ Tray, the desk sends QZ request hashes — not the label image, not buyer names — to the same project so the print job can be signed. It does not send the contents of your Whatnot chat, and it does not need your Whatnot password.
QZ Tray runs on your computer and talks to the printer. We do not receive print images.
Website and apps
Accounts use email + password (Supabase Auth) and Cloudflare Turnstile on sign-in. Billing goes through Stripe. We store entitlements (which tools you paid for), profile display name / Whatnot handle if you typed them, and overlay/tracker state you save while signed in.
What we do not do
- We do not sell sale data or emails to advertisers.
- We do not scrape buyers for a list you did not generate.
- We do not need your Whatnot password.
